Deep Cleaning goes past the everyday surfaces and into where residue actually builds: inside the oven and refrigerator, behind and beneath appliances, along scrubbed baseboards, into grout, and across the mineral film that turns a glass shower enclosure cloudy within a year of moving in. It's the right service when you take over an apartment, before or after a move, or when routine cleaning has stopped being enough.

In Midtown's newer towers, deep cleaning is largely a chemistry problem rather than an effort one. New York's water is hard, and in a Hudson Yards or Garment District apartment the visible consequences appear fast: a glass shower screen that goes hazy within months, chrome and matte-black fixtures with a film ordinary cleaning won't shift, and engineered stone counters dulled by repeated use of the wrong product. None of that is dirt in the usual sense — it's mineral deposit, and it comes off with a descaling agent and dwell time, not with scrubbing. Getting a shower screen back to properly clear is among the most requested things we do and one of the more satisfying.

The older housing on the West Side presents the opposite problem. A Hell's Kitchen tenement walk-up or a Chelsea row house accumulates the residue of a century: grease crept from the stovetop onto cabinet fronts and up into the hood, hexagonal bathroom tile with grout that hasn't been scrubbed in decades, radiator alcoves shedding dust every winter, painted-over window tracks packed with grit, and original wood and marble that a modern all-purpose cleaner would permanently dull. Each surface gets the product it should have rather than one aggressive cleaner used throughout.

A deep clean runs roughly twice as long as a standard visit and we schedule it accordingly, sending a team for a larger apartment or a row house so it finishes in one go. We clear your building's requirements first — COI, approved list, elevator window — and we can do the whole thing overnight if that suits you better than losing a day to it. Most people book one as a baseline and then hold it with a recurring plan, which costs considerably less across a year than repeating deep cleans. The flat rate is confirmed before we begin, however long it actually takes.
