Post-Construction / Renovation Cleaning In Manhattan, NYC
Multi-pass HEPA cleaning after a renovation, scheduled inside your building's contractor hours.
About Our Post-Construction / Renovation Cleaning
Renovation dust isn't ordinary dust. Drywall dust stays airborne for hours, settles into every surface, seam and fabric in an apartment, and comes back twice more after the first clean. This is a specialist multi-pass service using HEPA filtration, with the right products for paint flecks, adhesive residue, grout haze and joint-compound film — scheduled to fit whatever contractor window your building allows.
Midtown renovation happens under more constraints than almost anywhere. Buildings typically restrict work to weekday hours, require a certificate of insurance from every contractor, cap how long the freight elevator can be held, and in some cases limit how many trades can be on site at once. A cleaning crew arriving outside those rules doesn't get upstairs. We arrange the clearance ourselves and, where a building's daytime windows are already spoken for by the trades, we can often work an evening or overnight slot instead — which is frequently the only way a post-construction clean fits the schedule at all.
The method is what makes it hold. The first pass removes bulk debris and heavy dust with HEPA-filtered equipment, strictly top-down — ceilings, high ledges, light fixtures, then walls, then surfaces, then floors. The second pass, once the airborne dust has settled, collects everything that fell during the first. A third detail pass handles the rest: paint flecks scraped from glass and hardware, adhesive and label residue removed from new appliances and fixtures, grout haze polished off new tile, joint-compound film wiped from window frames and tracks, and inside every new cabinet before anything goes into it. Vents and tracks get particular attention, since dust that settles there keeps recirculating for months.
Two things come up repeatedly in Midtown apartments specifically. Floor-to-ceiling glass shows construction film dramatically and needs squeegee work rather than wiping, and in a loft conversion the ceilings, exposed structure and high window frames are well beyond a stepladder and need proper extension equipment. We come prepared for both. Pricing is flat and quoted once we understand the scope — a bathroom refit and a full apartment gut are entirely different jobs, and averaging them serves nobody.
Our Post-Construction / Renovation Cleaning Process
A clear, step-by-step path from quote to spotless results.
Scope And Building Rules
What was done, how large, and what hours your building permits contractors. All three shape the quote and the schedule.
Clearance Arranged
COI, contractor approval and a freight elevator window — booked before the day, including evening slots where daytime is taken.
Passes One And Two
HEPA-filtered bulk removal top-down, then a full second pass once the air clears. This is the step most services skip.
Detail And Handover
Paint, adhesive, grout haze, glass, inside new cabinetry, vents and tracks — floors last, then a walkthrough with you or your GC.
